Dr. Casey Stringer received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017, followed by a Masters of Education from Liberty University in 2019. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2024 from St. George’s University.
Over the past two years, Dr. Stringer completed a rotating internship, followed by a surgical internship from Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of Knoxville. Dr. Stringer enjoys most aspects of veterinary medicine but has a passion for both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. She also has a particular love for wound care and management. With the training she received from board certified specialists over the past couple of years, Dr. Stringer hopes to provide advanced surgical care to her patients. She strives to treat each fur baby like she would treat her own and is excited to build relationships with each patient and their family.
When she’s not at the hospital, Dr. Stringer is typically spending time with her fiancé, golden retriever, and two cats. She also loves spending time on the water and particularly enjoys paddle boarding. Dr. Stringer is a big sports fan, and you can count on her supporting the Tennessee Volunteers year-round.
